Vietnam Classic Tour – 7 Days

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
You arrive in the charming capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi where Asia Charm Tours will pick you up for check in at our hotel. The rest of the day is free at our leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)
08h00 – 08h30: Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing
13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as  Cruises among the limestone islands…
15h30 – 16h30: Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Luon Cave area.
16h30: Back to the  Cruise
16h30 – 17h30: Cruise to Soi Sim island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Soi Sim or climp up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay
17h30: Return to the main boat for a shower. Relax or snap photos as the sun starts to set
19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, fish for squid, or just laze around
Overnight on board.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Flight to Hue (B,L)
06h30 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt
07h30 – 08h30: Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h30 – 09h30: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 – 10h30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet and more…
10h30 – 11h30: While heading back to the habor, watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00: Disembark Cruise
12h30: Transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi city center.
16h30 – 17h00: Come to Hanoi and prepare for transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 4: Hue City Tour - Hoi An (B,L)
07:00: Pịck up guest at hotels and depart to Hue city
09:30: Arrive at Hue city. Visit the Tomb of Tu Duc king or Khai Dinh king.
11:30: Have lunch at restaurant with local foods.
12:30: Visit the Imperial Citadel, the Palace of 13 Nguyen’s Kings, the last feudal dynasty of Viet Nam
15:00: Visit Thien Mu pagoda, was built in the early of XVII Century. Shopping at Dong Ba Market.
16:00: Leave Hue to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An full day city - My Son holly land (B,L)
Our guide will pick you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land - the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Moreover, you have chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms. Then transferring you back to Hoi An to visit the handicraft village of Thanh Ha Ceramic where you will view the various stages of producing the many kinds of the pottery products. The villagers use clay as main material to create pottery products such as bowls, jars, vases, earthen pot, decorative lamps, etc…with a variety of shapes and colors. Especially, you also have opportunity to make a small product by yourself. Take a boat trip on Thu Bon River back to Hoi An, you will admire the daily activities of people on the boat go to markets along the river’s bank to earn their life. Have lunch at restaurant in Hoi An to enjoy the special cuisine of this ancient town.

This afternoon, you will wander around old streets to visit Hoi An Ancient Town - the World Cultural Heritage Site, the busiest purchasing centre and port authority in the past to discover the unique combination of oriental architecture including Chinese and Japanese style, as well as style of antique European architecture. These famous buildings are Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House with 200 years old, or Hoi Quan Phuc Kien Pagoda with style building of Chinese people, or Pottery Museum… At night, you are free to explore Hoi An ancient town for exploring the beauties of this ancient town with colorful lanterns, silk shops. This ancient town seems brighter than at night with colorful lanterns along streets and shops create the charming of Hoi An town, especially on 15th of lunar calendar every month you can see its most magnificent screen than ever... Once more special of Hoi An ancient town is spending time to go shopping at silk shops, lantern shops for experience of handicraft villages and make tailor with reasonable price. Back your hotel & end of tour.

Transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - My Tho (B,L)
Detailed Itinerary: After escaping from Ho Chi Minh City’s urban sprawl, you’ll travel to My Tho. There, you’ll cruise on the Mekong through the Bao Dinh natural canal, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river sides. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. Then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City (B)
