Quick See North Vietnam Tour 7 Days/ 6 Nights

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Welcome up on arrival by Asia Charm Tours, we then transfer to hotel. Relax in the rest of the day. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B,L)
After have breakfast in hotel, our tour will start around 08:00 AM
Today we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.

In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam: Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Following by that we will wander around the city by car to see the real life of Hanoian as well as the difference parts the city. After that we will take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, each of the 36 streets names' was related to the products being sold there. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau of White Thai ethnic minority people (B,L,D)
We depart Hanoi today at 8 o’clock then drive up to Hoa Binh. Arrival in Pom Coong village in the middle of the day, we check in the house-on-stilt and have lunch. In the afternoon, we explore some Thai Villages near by including: Lac, Nhot & Na Phon village (Easy hiking 2 hours). Tonight we see the Traditional Dance of the White Thai people. We also have chance to join with them for the dance and drinking the Can Wine, it is one of the local specialty.
Overnight in Pom Coong village.

Day 4: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast, we will take a walk to Mai Chau market where we can see what they are selling for daily lives. Then we take a walk through the rice paddy fields to some others village like Dau or Van. We have lunch in Pom Coong village then driving back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (Over night on junk cruise) (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we meet tour guide and driver again and drive to Halong Bay. The journey lasts 3,5 hour along the Red River Delta with green rice paddy fields. Stopping to relax in Hai Duong and catch up the pier in the middle of the day, we then take tender to the junk cruise. Welcome on board, we check in room and enjoy delicious lunch while cruising thousand of islets & islands, which emerge from the emerald water. We will have chance to see the Incense Burner islets, Dog islet, Fighting cocks islets…and also many fishing villages. This afternoon, we visit the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, the Amazing caves (Hang Sung Sot) with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes & color. We also visit the Titop island where we can go up to the top of the island for the bird eye view point to experiences the panoramic view of the majestic bay or go swimming on the nice beach. We also have option of doing kayaking to explore the area. Enjoy sea food dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6 Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)
Getting early to see sunrise on the Bay and enjoy our breakfast; we then explore the Luon cave (a Hallow cave) by a small boat. Back to the junk cruise and keep on moving and passing Man head island, Tortoise Island… then back to the wharf. Before leaving to Hanoi, we enjoy the demonstration of trimming flowers from fruits & roots by the chef on the cruise and lunch. We arrive in Hanoi at around 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7: Departure Hanoi (B)
Free at leisure for last minute shopping before transfering back to the airport for our flight to home. Trip ends.
