Hill Trible’s Colorful Markets in Sapa

Night 1 : Hanoi - Laocai
20:00 pm - Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi railway station for Overnight train to Lao Cai

Day 1 (Saturday): Lao Cai – Can Cau market – Bac Ha ( B, L, D)
Picked up at Laocai Train Station then drive to Can Cau market. It takes more than 2 hours to get to CanCau. Spend two hours joining the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the festive market activities where peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Saturday for shopping and socializing. The right location of the market place also offers photo-hunters ideal opportunity for taking photos, not only of peoples in colorful traditional costumes but also breathtaking landscapes of the perfect surrounding. Say goodbye to the market and transfer to BacHa. On the way, spend time visiting a village of the Flower H'mong and then check in hotel in BacHa. Free to explore the town. Lunch in CanCau or in BacHa and dinner in BacHa. Overnight at the hotel in Bac Ha town.

Day 2 (Sunday): Bac Ha market – Sapa ( B, L, D )  
A walk to BacHa market. Bac Ha market is the most colourful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese). In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to continue up to Sapa. Day 3 (Monday): Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van homestay ( B, L, D)
Check out hotel and start a trekking trip towards Muong Hoa valley to visit 4 villages of the H,mong, the Dzay people with around 17 km of trekking. Enjoy beautiful landscapes, terraced paddy fields. Discover the live of the people with different cultures. Have dinner and spend the night at the family of the Dzay people.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Sapa – Coc Ly – Lao Cai - Hanoi ( B, L)
Leave from the village early at 7.30 AM for CocLy market, which is situated far from Sapa. It is a rural market on every Tuesday. To go to the market, minority people such as: Flower Hmong, Tay, Nung… from remote villages have to wake up early to walk up and downhill for hours. You can spend few hours joining the locals at the market for your own experience.

After that, you will board a sampan and follow the Chay River downstream for a discovery of wild nature and minority lifestyle in this “off beaten” track region. A long the river, we will stop to have a short walk about 1 hour to visit Trung Do village which is the home to Tay tribe before traveling by boat to the end of river to meet our driver and transfer to Lao Cai train station for come back to Hanoi. Overnight on the A/c soft sleeper cabin.

Day 5: Hanoi Arrival
Arrive in Hanoi roughly 5:00 AM. Our team will pick up up and drive to your hotel. Tour end
