Highlights of Southern Vietnam 5 Days

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival
When you arrive at the Tan Son Nhat International airport you’ll be by our guide and take you to your hotel. Then the rest of the day is your leisure.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tours – Cu Chi Tunnels (B,L)
We’ll pick you up in the morning and take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a major part of the Vietnam-American War and a fascinating day trip - explore the mysterious tunnels, find hidden doors and once-deadly traps.
After lunch we’ll go back to Ho Chi Minh and spend the afternoon for the city tour, visiting the War Remnants Museum, the Presidential Palace, Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market. You will have chance to explore not only a bustling city with modern life but also a cultural and historical centre.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Can Tho (B,L)
From Ho Chi Minh we’ll take a short drive through lush green rice fields into the Mekong Delta and the town of My Tho. We’ll stop to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda and take a hand-rowed sampan boat down the mighty Mekong, drifting under the shade of coconut trees through the river’s natural canals. You’ll get to see wooden stilt houses, aromatic fruit plantations and traditional fishing villages built along the banks. At Tortoise Islet we’ll stop to have lunch in an orchard garden, then continue down the river to An Khang, taste seasonal fruit, honey, tea and enjoy beautiful sounds of southern Vietnamese folk music performed by local musicians. In the evening we’ll head to Can Tho for check in. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 4: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating market – Ho chi Minh City (B,L)
Have breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a cruise down the Mekong to Cai Rang Floating market. Cai Rang is the largest floating market in the region and you can see local people exchanging their goods in the boat.
In the afternoon, you come back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
You have free time in the morning until your private car arrives to take you to the airport for your next destination and we hope to see you again next time!
