Bicycle to countryside – Tra Que vegetable village

Around 08:00Am. Asia Charm Tours's Guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel then depart from your hotel and bicycle riding in 30 minutes to the countryside. On the way , we will go by paddy  field and shrimp farm to take picture of farmers, buffaloes, duck farms ,… go along to Tra Que herbs village. Here you will have an introduction to the history of the village. The short lesson doesn’t stop with a brief introduction to the village’s history, but it also provides a lot of fun information, such as the cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine.

You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Other activities will include: raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and much more. After spending time with the farmers, we will use the rest of the morning working the land in the time honored way, before breaking to prepare some special foods with a local family. You will enjoy the “Tam Huu” spring roll and “Banh Xeo”, the local pancake from the middle region. This tour gives you a real life glimpse into the traditional living of the people of this village.
