Best of Sapa and Halong Bay 8 Days

Day 1 : Hanoi – Arrival
Transfer via: International flight – your arrangement
Up on arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by Asia Charm Tours team, transferred to hotel in the city center, check in and relax. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 :  Hanoi – City tour – Night train to Sapa (B - L)
In the morning, our tour guide and driver will meet us at the lobby of the hotel at 08:30; we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, One Pillar pagoda and Temple of Literature in the morning. The rest of the day we will visit the museum of Ethnic Minority, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Tour ends at hotel arround 17:00, we have a shower at hotel before being picked up and transfer to train station for our night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.

Day 3: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai– Tavan (B, L, D)
Met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide then walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue on 2km of trekking down to Lao Chai village of the H’mong.
Lunch at a local family, and then walk through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people where we stay for the night. It gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Cat Cat & Sin Chai (B, L, D)
Have a breakfast before trekking down to the South-west of Sapa (14 km ) to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong. Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest to the main road to catch the Car to return to Sapa.

Day 5: Bac Ha market - Night train to Hanoi (B, L, D)
Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).
In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch the train or continue up to Sapa (two solutions for travelers). Then our vehicle will be waiting for us for our drive back to Lao Cai for overnight on train.

Day 6 :  Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi very early in the morning. Then, we will pick you up and transfer to hotel for breakfast and shower.

08h00 – 08h30: Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3 and ½ hour drive to Halong Bay.
12h30 – 13h00: Embark on Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h30 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as cruises among the limestone islands.
15h30 – 16h30: Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave - the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
16h30 – 17h30: Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the quite area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.
17h30 – 19h00: Cooking class and sunset party on sundeck
19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around.
Overnight on board.

DAY 7: Lan Ha Bay – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
06h30 - 07h30: Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt
07h30 – 08h30: Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.
08h30 - 09h30: Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fisherman who live there…
09h30: Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
09h30 - 10h30: Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
10h30 – 11h30: While heading back to the habor, watch the fruit carving demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h00 – 12h30: Disembark Cruise
12h30 – 13h00: Transfer back to Hanoi.  Arrive Hanoi around at 17h00.

Day 8 : Hanoi - Departure (B)
Transfer via: International flight – your arrangement
Free until transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Trips end!
