Sapa Culture and Tourism Week 2014 will open in late April
From April 29 to May 4, the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai will host numerous activities for Sapa Culture and Tourism Week 2014.
The event will have traditional music performances and folk games of Sapa ethnic minority groups from the Ham Rong mountain eco-tourism area. In addition, the Cat Cat Village Culture Festival and a flower, decorative plants, and local cultural products exhibition will be held during the Sapa Culture and Tourism Week.
The provincial People’s Committee has launched a Lao Cai tourism portal in Vietnamese, English and Chinese to create opportunities for tourists to study tourism in Sapa and Lao Cai.
