Hon Dung community tourism village recognized

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a decision to recognize Hon Dung Village Community Tourism Village in Son Hiep Commune, Khanh Son District as a potential location for community tourism development in the province.
This is the first community tourism village ever recognized in Khanh Son District. Khanh Son District People’s Committee will support Hon Dung Village Community Tourism Village with developing community tourism products; initial necessary equipment for individuals and households participating in providing tourism services; and promoting community tourism products.
Khanh Son district has developed a tourism development project until 2030 with the goal of attracting 45,000 tourists by 2025; and developing accommodation facilities with about 570 rooms. The district has invested in building some key projects to facilitate tourism development in the district; organized conferences to promote tourism investment and proposed projects calling for non-budgetary investment capital until 2030.
In the coming time, Khanh Son District will focus on developing eco-tourism products and enhancing the economic values of tourism while preserving and promoting local cultural values. The district has planned to develop mountain and forest discovery tourism, adventure tourism, cultural discovery tourism, and eco-resorts in line with the orientation of sustainable eco-tourism development.
