You’ll definitely need a guide to bring you around trekking in Sapa. I booked a private tour and I had the ease of going at my own pace with just my guide. It’s pricier but you wouldn’t have to wait for others or worry about catching up with the rest of the group. I was lucky to be there during good weather and the weather and view was perfect!
