“Fantastic organised trip to Hanoi, Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay”
Asia Charm Tours were fantastic, and put together a great trip for us, and given the short amount of time we had, we did not feel exhausted or rushed. It was perfect. We just wished our trip was longer!
All of the tour guides were fantastic. I thought the level of English was exceptional for all of the guides. They were clear and concise, and explained everything to great detail, and answered all of our questions. Our guide on the second day in Sa Pa in particular was so lovely and she had some fascinating stories.
As we paid for the “luxury” accommodation, the quality of the hotels exceeded our expectations. Silk Path Hotel was a great base for our first few days in Hanoi, and we were happy to come back to it after Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was fantastic and when we were only using the hotel as a stop off to refresh, the spa/shower area on the 10th floor was ideal. The location of the hotel was fantastic too, within walking distance of where we wanted to go on an evening.
Amazing Hotel in Sa Pa was exactly like the name – amazing!.
The Signature Cruise at Ha Long Bay was incredible, and felt very lucky to have such a beautiful cabin with a jacuzzi bath.
We also appreciated having a private cabin on the train journeys to/from Sa Pa.
The breakfast at Silk Path Hotel was great, lots of choice and good service.
The food we had on arrival, for lunch and the evening dinner in Sa Pa was also great. My only criticism here is that we would have liked to have found somewhere ourselves to eat in Sa Pa in the evening, instead of dining at the same place for breakfast, lunch and evening dinner. But we didn’t mind, as the food was lovely. We also had an issue at the Peter Chef restaurant at Lao Cai station in which we paid, but didn’t need to. We were later refunded after the restaurant spoke to yourselves. The food was ok here.
The food we had for lunch on the second day in Sa Pa was wonderful.
The food we had on the Signature Cruise was also great, with fantastic service by the staff.
Too be honest, we didn’t have a single bad meal the whole time we were in Vietnam! The food is outstanding.
Given that the driving in Vietnam is somewhat chaotic (compared to the UK!), I thought all of the drivers we had were great and I never once felt unsafe. The cars were comfortable.
Overall, the service by Asia Charm Tours was above and beyond! As my friend highly recommended your services to us, I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed, as she also said good things. You were quick to assist us when our flight to Da Nang changed less than 24 hours before we due to travel. You made our trip so easy, and took the pressure off us, especially as we wanted to cram in as much as possible with only 10 days in Vietnam. I will happily recommend you to my friend and family. We hope to visit Vietnam again in the future, heading South next time, and we will most definitely use you again. We are also planning to visit Cambodia late next year, and I’ve already found one your tours which we want to do, so I will be in touch with you again. Thank you so much!
