Dear Ms Starla,
We spent 2 days with trekking in the nearby villages with a young guide. The landscape is amazing with beautiful valleys, high mountains, waterfalls and cool natural pools. We could look a bit into local life: how they prepare for rice planting, how they cook, how they go for shopping. One of the highlights of our trek was visiting a local school where local children were playing, training, singing. We were observing them for more than an hour, we really enjoyed it.
It’s definitely worth to travel to Sapa, the trekking is really a reward after spending a night on the train.
