Sin Chai village
Sin Chai village is home of the Red Dao people, the village situated at the roof of Fansifan Mountain in a rainforested area protected by the Hoang Lien National Park. Sin Chai village might not be a well known attraction for both tourist and Vietnamese people.
Local life here is simple, with people earning a living from farming, dying indigo, planting flax, and textile weaving. Most Sapa tours of Sin Chai Village focus on the daily life of the villagers, who still maintain their ancestor’s way of life and take much pride in their community. The short yet scenic trek through the landscape of rice paddies, streams, and corn fields serves to culturally acclimatize visitors to Sin Chai and its pace of life. The Red Dao women in Sin Chai village are expert embroiderers and this talent is passed down from mother to daughter, from a very young age. They wear traditional costumes beautifully embroidered with distinctive silver jewelries and a big red turban.
Inside this pristine village, there are a lot of wonderful scenery that could even make hardest hearts melt away. The very special thing is that, we will not be alone, all the kids in the village will be our companions during the adventure as you will fall in love with them. They will be around all the time, singing, dancing and will do anything to make you smile. Moreover, you can teach them songs, poems that you used to love when you were a child.
