Muong Khuong Market ( Sunday only)
The Muong Khuong market is a large market about 2 hours driver from Sa Pa. It is located in the center of Muong Khuong District, Lao Cai Province. Muong Khuong Market hold on every Sunday from 6 am to 1 pm.
Muong Khuong market is a big market with a wide range of ethnic group: H’Mong, Dao, Nung…They come from surrounding villages to buy and sell local products such as food and material for agriculture and fabric.
Visiting Muong Khuong market every Sunday morning, not only you can see beautiful scenery of terraced rice paddies, lush fruit farms, tea and pine plantation…but also ethnic minority woman, who always wear their best colorful traditional costume and take the largest number.
